Bronze Icon for Professional Excellence in Government Process Reengineering for
Double Entry Accounting System Software (DEAS)

The Double Entry Accounting System software of Himachal Pradesh Institute of Public Administration (HIPA) has won the prestigious National e Governance Bronze Icon Award in the 10^th National e Governance Conference held at Bhopal , Madhya Pradesh on 2^nd February 2007. Sh. Ajay Mittal, IAS, Director, and Sh. K.K. Sharma, Dy. Controller Finance & Accounts from HIPA and Sh. Ajay Chahal, Technical Director & Sh. Sanjay Kumar, Senior System Analyst from NIC HP State Centre visited Bhopal to receive the above award in the National e Governance Conference. The software of Double Entry Accounting System (DEAS) has been designed and developed by National Informatics Centre, Himachal Pradesh State Centre, Shimla through NICSI.
