The Department of
Biotechnology, Govt. of H.P. requires services of following officers on
deputation/secondment basis initially for a period of two years from the scientists
working in Central or different State Govt. departments/ organizations.

Scientific Officer– Human & Animal Health Care in the pay scale of Rs.

(I.) The person should be Ph.D in Animal/ Medical Sciences/ Biotechnology or equivalent with minimum
eight years experience in research &
development in Biotechnology
preferably related to pharmaceutical, animal health care, gene therapy
etc. (II.) Should
be working in the pay scale of Rs. 10000-15200/- or higher. |

Scientific Officer - Finance and
Administration in the pay scale of
Rs. 12000-16350/- |
(I.)
The person should be Ph.D in Life Sciences/ Biotechnology or
Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA) with minimum eight years
experience in Administration & Management preferably of Biobusiness
projects. (II) Should be working in the pay scale of Rs.
10000-15200/- or higher. |

Note:- If an applicant is in the same or higher pay
scale then the posts being advertised,
his pay will be protected.
The applications of eligible candidates
alongwith ACR Dossiers should be routed to the office of undersigned through
the competent authority latest by 5th July, 2004. The selection will
be done after an interview.
