The open recruitment for army soldiers general duty and technical would take place at Rampur in Shimla district from February 11 to 19, 2002.

Recruitment for Shimla district candidates would be held on February 11, Sirmour and Kinnaur on February 12, Solan on February 13, Mandi on February 14, Lahaul & Spiti on February 15, Una and Bilaspur on February 16, Hamirpur, Kangra and Chamba districts on February 17, 18, 19 respectively.

The willing candidates are requested to bring along their matric certificate, candidates from Kinnaur, Lahaul & Spiti should bring their 5th pass certificate while Gorkha candidates should bring their 8th pass certificate along.

Along with these, a character certificate from village pradhan, bonafide Himachali certificate from district SDM, any NCC or sports certificate, discharge book or serving certificate should also be brought.
