Army Recruitment Rally

The Army will hold an exclusive recruitment rally for Kangra and Chamba districts at Palampur from February 4 to 9 to recruit soldiers. According to Branch Recruiting Officer Col. K. N. Jha, candidates must have passed matriculation examination with minimum 45 percent marks, while Gorkhas with an Indian domicile must have passed Class VIII exam. Candidates should be between 16 and 21 years of age as on March 31, 2003 and possess a Himachal Domicile.

All candidates must bring along education, domicile, Dogra community, caste and character certificate in original, along with two photo copies of each. Candidates are also required to bring 10 latest blach and white passport size photographs along.
